My CV
I cut my teeth in account management at WCRS and Publicis, large London ad agencies. I worked with some of the most famous brands around: BMW, Orange, Carling, Renault and the National Lottery launch. Cars, booze, mobile phones and gambling... every young man’s dream!

Later, I left London for Berkshire and several Home Counties agencies: creating research, design and marketing. Although a Client Services Director, by now I was also writing a lot of content and in January 2009, I made the scary but satisfying decision to become a fully-fledged freelance writer.

Since then I’ve created everything from global campaigns to local pizza menus, and 150-page books to two-line tweets. And I love it. With content playing a critical role in digital communications and social technologies constantly evolving, it's a great time to write. It also puts me in touch with so many talented people.

Although mainly a freelancer, I have also held several contract roles, including:

- Head of Content, Capgemini Group IT (2019)
- Global Campaign Editor-in-Chief, Nokia (2018)
- Head of Content Strategy, Nutcracker (2018)
- Content Specialist, ResourceIT (2016-8)
- Author, Toyota/Inchcape (2017)
- Internal Comms Content Lead, AVG (2016)
- Content Strategist, Rackspace (2013)
